I watched in horror as my birthday was matched to 87. I decided immediately to begin attending divinity school. The divinity schools then had a great gimmick. The program was 6 years long (no one to my knowledge ever graduated) and if you were unlucky enough to finish you would be too old to serve in the military. These schools cropped up overnight, charged an exorbitant tuition but gave each student the deferment needed. I attended for years until the draft was abolished. The day after that event all the schools closed. Undoubtedly a whole host of Jaguars were bought by those who profited from these schools, thanks to the lottery.
